Born in South Africa, Vivienne immigrated to the UK in 1976 and settled in the US in 1985. She received her B.A. from Florida Atlantic University and her Masters in Social Work from Barry University.
Having served as victim’s advocate she has also provided counseling to individuals and groups on domestic abuse, violence and more general life issues, such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder and adult attention deficit disorder.
Vivienne’s personal experience with the challenges of step-parenting led her to an in-depth course of research and study over 20 years which uncovered her true passion.
Today she supports stepparents and their children in transforming the battlefields and power struggles that characterize stepfamily relationships into functional,loving and supportive ones.
